Cookie Exchange

Sauerkraut Here!

Monday night was my cookie party, here were the best parts:

1) Chickpeas sister made sugar cookies… With a pretzel baked in the middle. If it was meant to be a surprise, which I think it was, she succeeded. Honestly, I never thought I would bite into a sugar cookie and find a pretzel. Never. I guess if they can put pretzels in M&M’s why not a sugar cookie?

2) Chickpea made a chocolate, peanut butter and pumpkin cookie. When I bit into it I asked, “Where’s the chocolate?” She responded, “It’s the three Reese’s Pieces on top.” Neat-O. This is why I love hanging out with the Pa*****os Sisters, they crazy nuts.

3) Chickpea and her sister decorated the back dining room for our cookie party, complete with Christmas music and hors d'oeuvre. Speaking of hors d’oeuvre’s, Chickpea had a wonderful spread of cheese and crackers. However, the closer I looked at the cheese I noticed it looked strangely familiar, maybe because Chickpea cut a fucking cheese stick into tiny pieces and plopped it into a serving dish. “Bam!”

Really?

In other news…

Yesterday I was asked to watch Ernie, one of the puppies at work, while his owner ran to an appointment.

Breaking Rule #2... He looks guilty.

I had so much fun with him… He sat on my lap, gave me puppy kisses, licked my keyboard, my shoes, and ate the side of a cardboard box. As a result I’ve decided I’m a really bad dog sitter because I pretty much let the dog do whatever it wants. I gave Ernie three rules: don’t bark, don’t walk on the desk and don’t chew on the box. I gave up on the last two.

Breaking Rule #2... Again.

Anyways, it was super fun having a puppy with me at my desk.

That is all.

Sauerkraut

P.S.  Yesterday I had to go to this networking event where I did absolutely no networking…  But I did enjoy the food and the chocolate fountain.  I actually hate chocolate fountains, I think they’re very tacky but I’ve never actually tried one, now I have… I still think they’re tacky, but the treats were yummy.  Any who, when I was shopping around at a Christmas store (you know, while I was supposed to be networking) I heard some rustling below me, turns out it was a little black kitty sleeping in the Christmas decorations below, super cute.

Meow.

  1. 1) I want a kitty, but my roommate has allergies.
    2) Our house might get a dog. I told allergic roomie she has primary dog ownership/responsibility. She's cool with that. I'm nervous.
    3) I can't wait for you to own a bulldog, partly bc I know your blog will be full of pictures.
