Today I went into my grandparent’s bedroom to steal some M&M’s out of their closet when I discovered that my grandmother had taken a permanent marker and written the word “top” with an arrow drawn next to it on her bedspread.
I stood there for a few seconds, debating in my mind why she did this. Was it because she thought she might forget which side was the top? Was it not obvious? Was it a preference? Or was it because my grandfather put it on wrong and she felt the need to write instructions so that when he did it again, she could yell at him? I really don’t know.
Regardless, I thought it was pretty awesome.
